Introducing Our Campus Outreach Coordinator: Meg Walker

It’s a really exciting time to be a part of Presence, as our team continues to grow in 2016. Please help give a warm welcome to one of our newest hires, Meg Walker!

Meg is most recently from Illinois and has lived in five other states! That’s right, five! She’s most recently added Florida to the end of the list (after Alaska, Colorado, Missouri, and Kansas). Before joining Presence, she was Secretary and Vice President on her Student Government, led an international mission trip, trained and developed fundraising skills with students, and currently sits on the Alumni Council at her alma mater, Sterling College.

Meg (on the far right) learned through her time in SGA that she’s passionate about empowering others to improve upon leadership skills on an individual level and learning how to build consensus through the creation of common goals. When Meg’s not busy doing great work in our co-working space, she’s knitting or crocheting. She’s not afraid to admit she has an old soul and we’re excited to see the fruits of her labor.

The Campus Outreach Coordinator focuses on relationship-building and communication with institutions who are interested and could benefit from Check I’m Here’s complete campus engagement platform. Most often, they consult with administrators and student leaders on campuses across the country (and the world) about obstacles like assessment, retention, and how to best engage students on campus. We’re proud to say Meg is joining a team full of former student affairs professionals and student leaders who have a wealth of experience under their belt.

We’re pumped to have Meg join the sales team! Meg will be at upcoming conferences this spring, say hello to her first on Twitter @MegsWalkers!
