We’re hustling and hiring at Presence and so thrilled to share that we’re welcoming yet another human to our amazing team!
Give us a hand in welcoming Kehnon Gause, our new full-stack software engineer! ⧓
Programming has been one of Kehnon’s strong interests since he was young. At age thirteen, he enrolled in a .net programming class just before his 9th-grade year at St. Petersburg College (SPC). He was the youngest person ever to enroll in college at that time. After checking off a few to-do boxes, like getting approval from the Dean of the College, he was accepted to take courses. During summer break, he worked for his parents’ web hosting and development company and he’s been working as a web developer and programmer since.
During his time at SPC, he was involved with fraternity life and enjoyed his time as an off-campus student exploring St. Petersburg’s local community.
Let’s learn a little bit about why Kehnon is excited to be a part of the Check I’m Here team:
“I’m excited to be a part of a progressive, forward-thinking company like Check I’m Here. I love the atmosphere and the people I work with. I’m looking forward to building friendships with everyone in the company in and outside of work. ? “
When Kehnon isn’t helping us create the best student engagement software, you can find him enjoying his time as a musician. He plays bass and sings in the band called Dead is the Cat, works on writing music, and plays piano and guitar. One of his dreams is to go on tour in Japan with his band.
Kehnon was born and raised in Tarpon Springs, Florida. He traveled and studied art in Europe during his high school years. Kehnon’s wanderlust is apparent,
“I love to travel and have been to every state in the continental United States. I also lived in Zion National Park working as a hotel employee for a year when I was 18.”
We couldn’t be more excited to have Kehnon with us! To learn more about life at Check I’m Here and see if we have any open positions that may suit you, take a look at our jobs page.
